HIS Kids, is a newly formed group of individuals who believe that all children born and unborn, deserve the right to a permanent, nuturing home and family. November 2009 marks the tenth anniversary of the First National Adoption Month Proclamation. This presents an excellant opportunity to educate and advocate the ideals of adoption. Many activities are being planned within our community with an emphasis on utilizing religious organizations of all faiths. At any moment in Pennsylvania, 500 children wait for this basic right - a forever family. More than three percent will wait three years or longer. Twenty eight percent will age out of the system never to realize this dream. These are children who because of no fault of their own have been forced into an already over-crowded system. Their average age is eight. Children are this countries greatest resource. Let's all work together to protect this most precious gift.
